  • Super signposted from the main road. We had luck and great weather. Because it's fun twice. My not so walking was an enthusiastic man it was great. The rise in the Gorge is good to master even for inexperienced users. Sure not to recommend in the rain. The time of 2 hours is very generously calculated.

  • Great Gorge. Recommended. Varied walk through a very beautiful Lahn Rhine district.

  • Nice gap to discover, not only for children, particularly for adults. Good Footwear is a must!

  • Very nice hike with children. Goes directly to uphill through the Gorge. Sturdy footwear is mandatory. Once at the top you can make beautiful picnic at forest Lodge.

  • Really worthwhile if you are up there, because there are other natural ways not paved are. Also a very nice way to walk with dogs or jogging.

  • During my BW we are there on the day of service or that was often high in the night, 25 years ago. In the middle of our State of the art world, the primeval has kept in it. I need to go there be sure again.

  • Super sight. Unfortunately, the information about the Ruppertsklamm were misleading. We were there with our 4-year-old daughter. Us had previously inquired whether the walk with small children is possible. Answer was Yes. We have to say NO. The first, an estimated 300 m were still feasible, with hanging and choke. Then came a point with 2 m difference in altitude. Only the rope hold on slippery rock then about 3 climbing irons which were carved into rock and then again moving to the tether over rock. Otherwise not continues at the site. Unfortunately in my opinion only for school-age children safely possible. Since the place can be scaled individually. No backup of the child possible. A wrong step and the child is out. At this point, we are unfortunately turned around. the risk was too great for us. Another major problem is the finding a parking space. From noon parking car drivers even on the hard shoulder, you have to careful not to be parked to real. Conclusion: Minimum age 7 years without a car arriving at dry weather with solid footwear makes it sure ehr fun.

  • A beautiful hike the man here could go on through. The small river where it runs had now not much water at us but at possibly the days in advance you should wear something more rain shoes that can get too wet or have at least an extra pair here. The rise has many AIDS with steel ropes and kicks so that for each man he is feasible. Also the estimated are already very generous for a complete round 2 hours. We had about an hour literally pause between it.
