  • Through the recommendation of a friend, I'm on the rhododendron Park Kromlau became aware. On holiday in Saxony, it so, offered to drive past here and I was not disappointed. In may, than anything like many others, like an enchanted and silent Empire from another world flourished, the Park, which was not too crowded, worked. The flowers were a dream in its splendour and the different colors and shapes. The sprawling area, is wonderfully to the relax a while strolling down there and can be enchanted by the beauty of nature. In the park there is also seating and for pushchairs or wheelchairs, the paths to a large extent are paved as far as you can drive over it. The landscape architecture with wetlands, structures made of basalt stones and sculptures have succeeded in really terrific. I haven't seen something similar before yet. Special emphasis of course on the Rakotzbrücke, which is a true work of art and no matter from what angle you look, exerts a fascination. Straight or in conjunction with the water and vegetation around a continuous change of form and colour is given. Recommended destination for photographers or people who are looking for a special shooting location.

  • The rhododendron Park Kromlau is a relatively small park in the immediate vicinity (8 km) to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Fürst Pückler Park Bad Muskau and it is not far to the Park of Branitz near Cottbus. However, the rhododendron Park has nothing to do with the visionary and landscape designer Pückler Kromlau. The central point is the Rakozbrücke - with its basalt selenium. The Park develops its special beauty in the time around Pentecost. Then stand the often huge rhododendron bushes in full bloom. During this time, Kromlau annually organized the Pentecostal - and Flower Festival. A large car park is located near the Park. Roma is the Park by bicycle. Several restaurants provide the assurance of physical well-being

  • Beautiful place, I was out there today and I encourage you to see this beautiful Bridge even though the Devilish:) Near the entrance to the park there is a car park with a charming path. You can work around the whole Rakotzsee-by sunshine doing really amazing feeling.

  • Nice park with no admission fee. little overrun by the elders
  • Schone Rododendron. Gute platz für Spaziergang
  • Super
  • Very nice Park which does not lose its charm in the autumn. You could however better to make the Park and intervene less in the areas defined at the beginning.

  • A magical place. It is best to visit them at the time of flowering rhododendrons. Ample parking-paid.
