Krefeld Zoo, Krefeld

(3.6/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Krefeld Zoo serves as home to creatures big, small, and in between. Look for zebras, emus, waterbucks, and more in the African Plain area, or head over to the Tropical Bird House to see birds from all over the world in five separately themed aviaries. Elephants and apes and many other animals also live here. If you'd like a tour in English, call ahead to book one. • Five hours I was recently with daughter and three grandchildren in the Krefelder Zoo, I know under the name of 'Animal park' from own childhood. It was fun huge, to show the many living beings from the animal world the little ones and explain. Particularly the newborn black rhino we liked, that busy running from behind his mother his round turned.

  • A visit is no lost time. For kids, there was much to see. Impressive guest Siberian Tiger. The monkey house terrific. Here, there will be soon an outdoor enclosure for chimpanzees. We are at least twice a year to visit.
