  • Cleanliness: superficially good, upon closer in the bathroom not all tip top - many ants in the mobile home - coming out of the spout - decor not the images on the home page. Cheapest sofa, much too low to sit at the dining table. -Bathroom cabin fitted showers almost impossible, bathroom completely under water. -Distance to the tropical island too far to run with bathing suit - overall very Spartan set up

  • First of all, the plant is very large and not necessarily clear. The sauna area is nice, the lagoon and the Pacific are particularly crowded. It has created a pretty nice illusion of South seas and beach but overall, however this attracts less sophisticated audience. You need to know.

  • We were for the second time for 4 days in the mobile homes. We had a great time and lots of fun. I recommend is to take to having to buy everything on the ground than in the small shop at the camping site is a few "staple" quite expensive. During the day, we ate in the tropical islands and found there more than enough offer.

  • I thought there are a little bit more water attractions and less forest area, but in general was fine. Minus is that all attractions are old and it is very visible (I mean slides especially). Very good food (a little too expensive, but it is actually obvious and predictable) especially in the restaurant nearest the beach.

Unfortunately, the Tropical Island staff sucks. I ordered the premium tent for one night and when I showed up inside there it turned out, that the entrance is broken. I have got another tent but on the other side of Tropical Island. This time, I got just simple tent (not a premium I ordered). When I come to reception to fix it - I got another tent - AGAIN on the other side of the aqua park. I lost 2 hours and power to move with my luggage from one side to another. Manager of reception did not say even word of apology to me and all the time says that actually, nothing wrong happened. When I ask if someone from the Tropical Island staff will help me with my luggage (I was alone with mine and my girlfriend luggage) - I just heard it is not his job to help me. I remind - I already spent 2 hours running from one side of Island to another because of his staff mistake.

I am not sure if I would like to come there again. Staff must be aware of proper client service. At the moment they are not.
  • Had a really enjoyable experience! The spa was amazing, I even got naked in front of my friends ha ha! Lots of different saunas, my favourite was the meditation sauna! The park has lots of fun water slides and rapids/easy rivers. It's strange being in a hot pool outside in winter when the air temperature is minus 2. Cool beach too! My advice, TAKE WATER WITH YOU! You can't order free tap water at the bars and its very expensive to buy water! There's also nowhere to refill your water bottle, taps in the bathroom are hot. When I asked a member of staff for water they looked at me as though I had gone completely MAD. A sales tactic for a captive audience!? I would have happily paid for more beer and coke if I wasn't so dehydrated, I just needed water to quench my thirst! They really should have drinking water fountains in a water park!
  • We had a great time in the park. The air and water temperature is perfect, and there is enough to do. A bit strange to be in 32 degrees inside a huge former zeppelin hangar, while it is freezing outside.... We also stayed for one night, which is actually necessary to do everything and to never hurry for anything. Our hotel room was in the middle of the park, the perfect location. The room was very clean and spacious, although the bathroom smelled a bit of fungus. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was nice. As said, the pools were very nice. The water slides were awesome, as were the outside rapid rivers and the beach area. It was crowded during daytime (long waiting times at the slides...), so we waited for nightfall when all day guests left. I don't want to imagine the crowd during the holiday season... Why not five stars? Because everything is really, really expensive. You cannot bring your own food and water, and water costs 3 euros a glass. Tap water is not available. Staff is not unfriendly, but not very welcoming either. Food and drinks are about 50% more expensive than in a comparable German restaurant.
  • Really really nice place to be. I went here with some friend. It was really fun here. I expected that there would be a bit more water. There are only 3 or 4 pools or something. I also expected that there where more slides. I had a really nice day here and we had a lot of fun. I don't know if i will come here again because it was a bit expensive.
  • Great location for relaxing and enjoying water, sun and warm temperatures. We visited Tropical Island end of February when outside temperature was -10 degrees but inside we were having fun at +34 degrees. Very nice experience. Beautiful pools and waterslides , awesome landscapes, great breakfast....super experience overall. Perfect location for families with children....our daughter enjoyed every second and cried at the end of our stay because she did not want to leave :-) She had a wonderful time. We are looking forward to returning to Tropical Island.
