  • The Münster is one of the most important places to go to if you visit the city of constanz. You can to onto the roof and enjoy one of the nicest views over the city and the Lake but also dive deep into the history starting in the ancient times, an roman Castle onto witch the church was built on later, and one of the most importent events for the City the Konzil. There is a lot more to find and to discover just find out for yourself.
  • A beautiful church/cathedral that you have to see if you visit Konstanz.
  • Cute little church. The statue of Mary near the main altar is especially interesting, as she appears to be pregnant, but has baby Jesus sitting on her lap!
  • One of the largest Romanesque churches in south west Germany with Gothic elements (like the tower) which have been added in later years. The towers have been restored and you climb up one of the towers for a minor fee. On a sunny day you have a great panoramic view over Konstanz and the Bodensee (Lake of Constance). Don't miss a visit of the crypt (one of the oldest parts of the church dating back to 900 A.D.) where several fire-gilded copper discs are exhibited. Leaving the church through a door close to the Konradikapelle (chapel of Konrad) you get to the Mauritiusrotunde (built in 904 A.D.), a small round chapel which imitates the monument of the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem before 1009.
  • The church is quite pretty. For 2 euros you can walk up the tower (not for claustro- or acrophobic people) where you get a unique view of the old town and Bodensee.
