  • For a fee, the Tower of the Cathedral can be climbed and offers breathtaking views of Lake Constance and the Konstanz old town from above. In the winter, the clear air these views of the Lake makes incomparable together with the snow-covered Alps.

  • Church in the Centre of Konstanz rather peculiar shape, very boxy has above the Centre the tower overlooking the square below.

  • This great Cathedral of very austere outside aspect offers beautiful items inside. Take the time to explore every corner of this beautiful church charged of history. Indeed, she almost 1200 years ago. She mixes many different architectural styles. I particularly recommend you dwell on the stained glass windows that are full of color. The crypt and the collegiate church are the oldest parts are absolutely beautiful. I recommend this tour to all lovers of history and architecture.

  • Cute little church. The statue of Mary near the main altar is especially interesting, as she appears to be pregnant, but has baby Jesus sitting on her lap!
  • One of the largest Romanesque churches in south west Germany with Gothic elements (like the tower) which have been added in later years. The towers have been restored and you climb up one of the towers for a minor fee. On a sunny day you have a great panoramic view over Konstanz and the Bodensee (Lake of Constance). Don't miss a visit of the crypt (one of the oldest parts of the church dating back to 900 A.D.) where several fire-gilded copper discs are exhibited. Leaving the church through a door close to the Konradikapelle (chapel of Konrad) you get to the Mauritiusrotunde (built in 904 A.D.), a small round chapel which imitates the monument of the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem before 1009.
  • The church is quite pretty. For 2 euros you can walk up the tower (not for claustro- or acrophobic people) where you get a unique view of the old town and Bodensee.
  • nice place
  • Nice little church. There's no admittance fee unless you want to go up the tower.
