  • This is something for Historiker-of less for aesthetes: it's dark, almost creepy and oppressive in its gloom. I know hardly a House of worship which attracts me so down.

  • The Cathedral is located in the old town, where the Roman Castle - visible - the history of the city began remains under glass pyramid. The church includes elements of many styles. The visit should include also the more hidden parts such as cloisters, chapels and crypt, which includes impressive parts. The entrance is to the left of the high altar.

  • If you want to marvel at the view offered top of the Münster, take a ticket and climb; not be regret. On sunny days you can see Switzerland and the Alps, without having that vera the Bodensee in all its splendor.

  • Cute little church. The statue of Mary near the main altar is especially interesting, as she appears to be pregnant, but has baby Jesus sitting on her lap!
  • One of the largest Romanesque churches in south west Germany with Gothic elements (like the tower) which have been added in later years. The towers have been restored and you climb up one of the towers for a minor fee. On a sunny day you have a great panoramic view over Konstanz and the Bodensee (Lake of Constance). Don't miss a visit of the crypt (one of the oldest parts of the church dating back to 900 A.D.) where several fire-gilded copper discs are exhibited. Leaving the church through a door close to the Konradikapelle (chapel of Konrad) you get to the Mauritiusrotunde (built in 904 A.D.), a small round chapel which imitates the monument of the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem before 1009.
  • The church is quite pretty. For 2 euros you can walk up the tower (not for claustro- or acrophobic people) where you get a unique view of the old town and Bodensee.
  • nice place
  • Nice little church. There's no admittance fee unless you want to go up the tower.
