Constance Harbour, Konstanz
(4.6/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Artist Peter Lenk erected the spinning statue Imperia here at Constance Harbour clandestinely in 1993. It refers to a story by Balzac that satirizes the morals of Catholic clergy. Although the statue itself may interest you, you can also enjoy taking a stroll and watching the ships pass through the harbor. Consider relaxing in the restaurants that fill the area, as they are some of the best in the city. Constance Harbour is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Konstanz Edition.

  • There are lots of restaurants overlooking the harbour. It is very busy and international. We had bikes and so could go further away from the crowds.
  • Entering Konstanz from the north of the Rhine, it is nice to walk over the pedestrian footbridge past the old towers and through the underpass towards the lake. Walk alongside the railway line until y...  more »
