  • The cog rail is quaint and a great way to get to the top of the mountain. At €10 for a return trip, it's an expensive ride. Make sure you go all the way to the top to make it somewhat worth it.  more »
  • A ticket for the little green train is €10, not included is the visit of the castle (€7). The view at the ruin is beautiful and there is a restaurant where you can eat and drink.  more »
  • Königswinter is a picturesque super village, which has as its main attraction this fonicular that leads up to the top of a mountain from where you can see the population located on the banks of the Rhine and neighboring populations, where stands the city of Bonn, really very nice

  • What a great way to make it to the top (and back) if you don't want to take the long long hike. Great views in a classic train. Nice prices as well.
  • Basically the train that is used to get to the top of Drachenfels. Has two stops, one outside the palace and one at the top of the mountain. Does go pretty slow, but does save the trouble of walking.
  • Old train reminds of old classic railway. Route short but nice through small forest with nice views. Excellent for small children
  • Great view and nice walk. In the spring or summer its lovely.
  • It's an attraction for children and convenient for those that have troubles walking up the Drachenfells mountain. Plus, it has a nice nostalgic flair.
