  • The craze of Romanesque architecture in Germany of the 19TH/20th centuries is particularly noticeable on the Rhine and, in particular, in Koblenz: awesome Chapel of the sacred heart of Jesus, and this building, built for the Prussian administration of the Rhine region. It looks heavy, cumbersome and, in my opinion, is a caricature of Romanesque architecture than an imitation of her. These opuses devaluate its authentic monuments whose originality simply gets lost amid such clichés.

  • This beautiful building on the banks of the river Rhine was the seat of the Government of Prussia in the Rhine Province. Calls attention for its towers, by its color and for being well off. Today the Federal Office of information technology.
