  • This refers to the southern part of the river Rhine in Koblenz, from the Palace of electors and further upstream. Accordingly, it is a pleasant place for walking: elector Palace Gardens, monuments, writer and Empress Gërresu August, and of course the views of the left bank of the Rhine.

  • The plant'd design on behalf of Empress Augusta through the construction of the garden architect Peter Josef Lenne. Although some sites have been destroyed, the approximately 3.5 km long system still with many attractions is equipped. The system itself runs from Kaiser Wilhelm monument until the Emperor Auguste monument on the Rhine along and is also accessible for disabled guests. If you arrive with a group, should book a guided tour of the Koblent tourism. A competent guide explains the individual sights very appealing.

  • August is the wife of Emperor Wilhelm i. She has done a lot for Koblenz. It was opened in the city hospital, shelter, constructed parks. For all her acts in the 19 century Koblenz residents have established her monument in the Park Rejnanlagen. Composition is made of white marble. In the Center there is the arched niche where the statue of Empress Augusta in Greek dress.
