  • After reviewing Rick Steves Germany guide we made a quick stop by Koblenz. We forgot to get the audio guide and did a quick walk around the complex. They did give us a English map with points. They we...  more »
  • A visit to the fortress is a must – a walk is a good insight on the history and the life of the fortress crew by the venerable walls and the exhibition. Sensational also the views of Koblenz.

  • Were current jester Festival ' 17 in the Casino on Ehrenbreitstein, mostly in connection with festivities at the fortress, often. The Casino is certainly sufficient for the tourism business. If you would like to go neat and tasty food there are better cuisine restaurants. The Casino has a large advantage certainly... the views of Koblenz and the Deutsches Eck - really great. • Nice place to visit. The cable car over gives a nice view of the Rhine. I wished I had more time to visit. The light show was very nice as well. I wished they had more markers showing were to go for things.
  • I've been living in Germany for 35 years and I wasn't aware this existed. An awe inspiring fortress located on the right side of the Rhein that can be accessed from Koblenz via cable car across the Rhine river. The ride above the Rhine alone is worth the trip to Koblenz. The fortress offers plenty to explore including a few museums and a restaurant. Totally recommended!
  • You can go there by cable car. The fortress is not luxury but magnificent. We can enjoy nice view.
  • Understand why this fortress was built overlooks where River Rhine and Moselle meet
  • Beautiful place, although a lot of the individual exhibitions are quite small / limited. Wine museum is very interesting
