  • Ehrenbreitstein is a fortification with a 5000-year-old past. The fortress is very well preserved and offers a variety of attractions. New exhibitions and events take place. A youth hostel is integrated into the fortress. You can book guided tours! A visit is payroll tax on all.

  • The ride with the panoramic cable car overlooking the Rhine, Mosel, Koblenz and German corner it exceptional and interesting also for bored teenagers. The tour of the fortress is interesting and it various exhibitions alternate. The view from the fortress in the countryside is gorgeous.

  • An absolute must when visiting Koblenz is a visit to the fortress Ehrenbreitstein. Already the journey by cable car is beautiful. A guided tour of the facility is definitely recommended, because you get detailed background information in this way.

  • Huge place to visit. Great views available over the town and rivers below. Variety of museums and exhibitions on offer inside (random ones while we were there included a collection of ice-age animal models, and a very entertaining photography collection about puns on modern day life) plus lots of obligatory war-related stuff in the fortress. Gardens outside it were quite pleasant too.
  • The views are spectacular. The fortress is vaste but not impressive. Absolutely no information in English only German.
  • Audio guides were very detailed. Perhaps a bit too much as there was a time limit on them so we had to rush to complete it all. The exhibitions are well worth spending some time in them.
  • Awesome place but shocking rude service at the Kiosk selling wine and beer. The place had just closed (10 min early) and the lady rudely demanded glass be handed over and never even said thank you when we did. Will be taking my own drinks in future.
  • Tremendously big area, lots and lots of info cards, if you're lucky you'll get some nice views of the city
