  • We learn very much about whisky and their production during the visit of the whisky Museum at the Kyrburg and learned. The voucher gift of our children, was a whisky tasting of rarities. With life pipe music and Campfire we were made to feel welcome in the courtyard of the Kyrberg. Of course, the welcome drink was a cocktail with fruit, in which also whisky was not missing. In the connected restaurant gredenzte you us a delicious 3 course menu. Then it went over steps illuminated with candles deep down in the cellar. Alone, the sight of the numerous whiskey bottles, glasses and barrels left amazed us. At the tasting, 6 rarities were presented and tasted by Whyskisorten. The men took over the us, and the women stayed at beer and wine. We knew all sorts of interesting and curious about the wines and we all had our fun. At midnight, there were some tasty goulash soup and then the evening Irish live music might sound cozy.

  • The greeting was well done. The subsequent meal nothing spectacular. The ambience was all very nice. The large table in the basement of super. The lectures on Scottish Whiskey were very informative and exciting made. What was not was the taste. The whiskey in the glasses was measured with the dropper. More than 2ml were not in it. Get drunk-no one wanted to, but that was not even enough to try. My table neighbor (a 2 m man) was really angry. I think you can offer a dainty girl of 1.50 cm (even to try) not same amount as a 150 kg giant.

  • I was for engagements in Frankfurt and sleeping in Kirn went to dinner, thank goodness there was 1 dinner table inside this famous is beautiful manor. Very, very good, with a summer terrace of incredible charm. After dinner, obviously enjoying a whisky in his temple is a must ... sight to try

  • Very nice local (former guardhouse of Kyrburg) with a terrace for the summer! And nearby a nice pub! The stronghold of German whisky tasting it! Am with my friends several times a year there because there are many different tasting themes and get extra traveled from Bavaria! The staff and the kitchen are also real lots good tips! Man will feel like with friends!

  • Very nice location, excellent cuisine, but here, not every guest is welcome (certainly not with the dog!). During our first visit, we were so excited that we have invited the whole family, to test the location for an upcoming wedding party. We had wonderful seats, were asked but shortly after the arrival of the backup to switch places, since we do not have Yes a dog (small Chihuahua was in a bag and made himself a bit noticeable). We got then places in a dark corner in a cold room zugewiesen-doing the weather outside was a dream! When we ask for the reason why we should sit with the dog in the winter garden, the backup could give us an answer. It is the statement of the "2nd boss". When these came finally directly to us instead of letting their temporary workers doing the work, she thundered us on the head, we should be happy that they ever would offer a place us, we could go to somewhere else. This announcement came so clear that we did not hesitate and left the restaurant with a rumbling stomach. The good memories from the first meal on the Kyrburg were at once then and our family has now little desire there to celebrate a wedding. What a pity! We thank our first meal in the restaurant management for your attentive service and hope that the slip of your colleague won't happen again. Finally is Kirn not around the corner and you should be glad, if guests take the journey on which to spend an evening with the family on the Kyrburg.

  • Stunning collection of whiskey. Expert advice with background information about the Whiskey and barrel production. The restaurant has a large sun terrace.
