  • were unfortunately quite late in the day, there is plenty to see and read. Nice centrally located on the waterfront.

  • This museum is strongly recommended justice not only in connection with the Kiel City Museum in the Warleberger, but also alone offers a worthwhile destination for visitors who are interested in seafaring. It is located directly in the Kiel city centre opposite the Museum Harbour.

  • A lovely museum which is well organised into categories. I can remember visiting here 35 years ago and now, in October 2015, the museum is just as interesting. I really like the model dockyard which portrays shipbuilding so well. The only thing missing are , as I recall from the last time I was here, are the shipwright's ( Bootsbauer's) tools. This is more than made up for by viewing the navigational aids. I loved visiting this place again and highly recommend it.
  • A beautiful Museum. Real modern and the exhibits are very well described. Interesting is also the exterior of vessels. The adjacent restaurant is also recommended.
