  • It was great to see the history there. For children there is plenty to see and to read a lot of things for adults. A small game and times corner is also available. In addition, it is possible for a small extra charge 2 ships to explore on the water.

  • On a rainy or cool day this museum has some interesting exhibits. It provides an understanding of the history of the area and the importance of the sea in the culture of the people.  more »

  • A lovely museum which is well organised into categories. I can remember visiting here 35 years ago and now, in October 2015, the museum is just as interesting. I really like the model dockyard which portrays shipbuilding so well. The only thing missing are , as I recall from the last time I was here, are the shipwright's ( Bootsbauer's) tools. This is more than made up for by viewing the navigational aids. I loved visiting this place again and highly recommend it.
  • A beautiful Museum. Real modern and the exhibits are very well described. Interesting is also the exterior of vessels. The adjacent restaurant is also recommended.

  • Again, you can discover new historical information. Also, a tour of the Museum is recommended.
