  • Touching the book of prayers, which is interpreted. Read feedback here even by believers who have prayed for relatives, where it went very schlechjt before surgery and to visit in Kevelaer. They were weeks later with the recovery again here and thanked again for the prayers. Impressive the many signs and pennants of the groups of pilgrims from all over EDuropa and of course the many pilgrims candles. Noteworthy are the many crutches and tools that most here have been deposited after a visit in the chapel of the candle, because they were no longer needed. Similar I saw and of course in Altötting in Lourdes and cooked again "tingling feeling". This place is visited not only by Katholoiken, have been Indians, Chinese, Africans and Muslims seen, were impressed.

  • Because the niches for burning candles are located outside the Church. And with wind force 5 go there a lot of candles. Have a while these candles lit again ... but for how long?

  • A beautiful House of worship is the so-called candle Chapel. You can smell the wax burned candles at the entrance. The walls are blackened by the many candles. The Church is still – in the hustle and bustle of everyday life - to pray. Also a place for reflection in Kevelaer.
