  • Evaluation from my hometown: my favorite Park in Kassel is the Karlsaue, especially in the early morning. The Karlsaue located below the city centre, where you can reach up on the Friedrichsplatz. There are many beautiful places to linger between man-made ponds, in the middle of a small temple stands on the Swan island and channel-like ditches. There are also the Orangery with the astronomical and physical Museum in the Karlsaue. Before that is the sprawling Karl meadow, where the Kassel and visitors to picnic and ball game. It is surrounded by various classical sculptures and marble bathrooms. At the southeastern end is the flower Island seven mountains, for which an admission fee is required.

  • I ended up here most by chance and it was really lucky. I walked around there for several hours and it was the most relaxing I have experienced in a long time. It is not just nature, water, animals without everything. At the end of the Park is also an orangerie which is worth watching. So you want to get fresh air and tranquility of the mind and not disturbed by joggers too much so I can really recommend this park.

  • as of 31 December, we visited the State Park Karlsaue. It's a beautiful and large plant with many highlights, like for example rose garden from a BUGA, u.v.m. However, 31.12, i.e. an impression ok, but this highlight one should visit rather from spring until autumn, when the Hungaroring pleasant and manifested the beautiful design with lots of trees and plants. In addition, then also the Planetarium and the catering in the Orangery has opened - it may have been but also on new year's Eve itself. So, is this goal worth a visit once, we look even again in the summer.
