  • Who posted the address of this museum as being on Gartenstrasse? That's at the other end of town. Completely wrong. This museum is right next door to the Grimmwelt museum. Lots of interesting artifact...  more »
  • The Museum for sepulchral culture is aussergewönhlich and occupies a leading position in Kassel's impressive Museum landscape for me. From different perspectives, and without the usual anxieties, informative and entitled death and dying is dedicated to himself, which is all too happy to displaced in this day and age. The only point of criticism: there is no information in English, for me no problem, impractical but for international guests.

  • It is small, with few things to see. Do not leave to be interesting even if all the info is in German, so it loses a lot for who don't speak the language.

  • A unique experience to address funeral death and culture. You gain an insight into the various things, customs, and objects relating to the death and the inter. We had a public leadership, which was really great. It is highly recommended, so even inconspicuous things are very exciting and interesting explained and shown. You should take quiet time to read also the descriptions of the many things the little modern used in the scene. A visit is worthwhile in any case.

  • A Museum of a different kind, but highly recommended for children, the subject of death and dying is very good here picked up and shows.

  • A really different museum not to be missed.

  • The Outlook objects are good... But I had the feeling there is something missing.

  • Death is displaced mostly out of consciousness, while nobody can escape it. Interesting how the deal with him is changed in the course of time and the funeral rites also. Highly interesting subject, factually very well prepared and presented.
