Zoo Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe

(3.9/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Opened in 1865, Zoo Karlsruhe is one of the oldest zoos in Germany and home to around 800 animals of 150 different species. Its Karlsruhe's City Garden location creates a natural oasis that mimics the animals' native environment. You will find polar bears in the replica of an Arctic tundra habitat, plus zebras, antelopes, ostriches, and giraffes in the African savannah enclosure. In the City Garden, walk through the large rose garden, as well as the Japanese Garden, which holds a Festival of Lights every odd-numbered year. In the summer, you can ride a Gondoletta boat through the park's canals and lake. Make Zoo Karlsruhe part of your personalized Karlsruhe itinerary using our Karlsruhe trip itinerary builder.

  • Great entertainment for all ages: actually, a Zoo and a recreation center can be confused with paroxysmal napozóágyba a mixture of: rózsalugasba, "kuglizni" (Board Games), gondolázni, water loungers to relax strolling Swan. All of this is completely separated from the city walls, but direct. Main entrance of the train station.

  • If the animals were well treated air, it is true that they are in tiny spaces. The lioness is painful in its 100 m2 of space (not used systematically, it share with other animals), hippos if they are beautiful are no less in a little water point. Elephants are auto-stimulent of boredom (finally looks like it) and a few other animals seem to have little space, unlike children who have beautiful spaces of game. The mini farm is very well laid out and very friendly.

  • Located opposite the main railway station, has a diversity of animal in an area wide and well cared for. The Park has a hill that allows you to see the whole city. Good feed and storage complete the ideal setting for visitors and visited.
