  • We visited today for the first time the new West Wing and were impressed. The numerous aquariums, terrariums and vivariums are great. Our highlights were the Shark Reef, the great basin of the crocodile and the cave with Laternenfischen. The exhibition is perfectly complemented by numerous exhibits and participatory - media stations. In this area of the Museum alone, you can spend a few hours. We have needed more than three hours for the West Wing and have read all information panels or made all stations. The older exhibitions including the "world of insects" or "Geology in the upper Rhine region" are exciting. The statement the Museum was small I absolutely do not understand. On the contrary, I find almost too much there, to visit everything during a visit. The Museum offers something for all ages.

  • Is somewhat tucked away in a backyard. The Museum is well equipped: with motorcycles, bicycles, cars and model railways. Only downside: open only on Sunday morning from 10 am to 1 pm.
