  • The Kloster Kamp, oldest Cistercian Monastery on the lower Rhine, is a monastery with a beautiful garden and terraces. At the foot of the terraces, historic foundations can be visited and directly in front of the gates to the garden, a newly-created adventure playground. Ideal for parents with children, elderly people, since the garden is on the ground floor accessible, flower friends and interested in history. Kamper square, with the old blacksmith's shop and House Bender, two very good restaurants and those looking for more original nature, finds a forest, with Mt. Kamper, the to the walk invites.

  • This not as you go through the town of Kamp-lintfort. Not only the beautifully restored monastery is beautiful but the gardens exceed the expectations. Very nicely laid out, lots of symmetry. You have a lovely view over the gardens. Wonderfully soothing and relaxing environment. Well worth the trouble. In the winter time there is also a wonderful, traditional Christmas market.

  • Very beautiful monastery with a small but beautifully landscaped park. The terraced gardens are very interesting.

  • I'm as a wedding photographer in Schubert's photography very often found Kamp at the monastery. The monastery has a special flair, especially the adjacent monastery garden invites to the stay and is a great location not too short for your Fotoshooting.Kulturelle events as well as facts come to the monastery.
