  • Have visited the castle in the first Oktoberwochende. The shortest ascent starts just opposite the Tourist Office (worth, as many brochures and maps are available) and ruins of Castle takes about 20 Min.(sehr steil, aber aussichtsreich) passably get with Höhenpunkten.Aussicht isolated a nice Bank.Den in the wood sculptures and romantic way back you can start portal on the ridge from the, which rewarded more convenient, but also with great prospects. Total worth a visit!

  • A very nice way to learn about the history of Kallmünz is the night watchman tour offered by the tourist office, with small "show play layers". Performs the second Mayor as a night watchman dressed diel small town and very entertaining tells the story of Kallmünz. The President of the Tourist Office brings himself in different roles in the management and fans again and again the night walk. Very much recommended.

  • Castle ruins on top of small mountain. Must climb steep big stepped trail, has hand rail. Takes about 15 mins per the locals, we ran and did it in 8 mins because it was getting dark. Very cool. But no info up there in English so we had no idea of its history.
  • A picturesque romantic place to go hiking, cycling or canoeing. Friends NAAB has a super water quality so even as many noble crayfish here live. A super nature and experience of Bavaria
