  • The Kaiserslautern Garden Show (Gartenschau) is a wonderful place to visit. We live nearby and never tire of walking the paths, seeing the flowers and dinosaurs. We love it but it's even better for the young children - the playground areas, mini-golf, wading in the stream, big slides, etc., are really great. The food is good and very reasonable! Outside beer garden provides plenty of seating.
  • A great place for a nice afternoon. The kids will love the permanent dinosaur exhibition outside along the park. For the adults there is a large area for walking and enjoying nature. Have a look at the temp exhibitions when you visit. They tend to be quite good.
  • Fantastic dinosaur park with many large sculptures, play areas, educational gardens and when we visited a Lego exhibition and Pumpkin Displays. As there are paddling areas, do bring a towel, and for very young children a dry change of clothes, you know what will happen! We found the walk up the hill to the educational gardens too much for our young children, but being away is a nice reprieve, you just need to take it in turns.
  • What an amazing park - minutes (by car) from downtown Kaiserslaughtern. Filled with cool outdoor activities for kids and parents, like treehouses, slides, a wading creek, minigolf, and life-sized (giant) dinosaurs scattered throughout. Great sidewalk cafe for lunch, too!
  • This is an absolutely wonderful place the entire family will enjoy. They have so much to offer! Playgrounds, walking trails, indoor exhibit and play area, outdoor resturaunt, public bathrooms, wagons to rent, a skate park, mini golf.... the list goes on. A fabulous way to spend a day in Kaiserslautern.
