(4.6/5 based on 95 reviews on the web)
Perched atop a hill just outside the city, Fritz-Walter-Stadium claims the top-ranked Fußball-Club Kaiserslautern. Built first in 1920, the structure was most recently renovated between 2002 and 2005 in preparation for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. • The views of the red-white wall with goose bumps. Great atmosphere, but a very pleasant atmosphere.

  • What was once a great stadium! Standing less than 40,000.- and seats. Always sold out... Season tickets are inherited... Mood like a hurricane... And today? A totally compact stadium which took no one in size. This is because 3 World Cup games. Megalomania ruled here...

  • The atmosphere in the stadium, especially in the West curve is always phenomenal. Even if this often less works with the end result, it's an experience to visit a game. Some P & r buses run directly to the stadium, otherwise it is probably obligatory on foot to climb the Betzenberg. Also for events gastronomy is highly recommended, because you have great views of the city in the evening.

  • The game was outstanding! We had a great time before, during and after fußballspiel.
  • Einzigartiges Gefühl auf dem Betzenberg!
  • Very well organized. Food and drink selection is very good. Atypically for a stadium. Unfortunately, as in any stadium too long lines. P + R shuttle service is strongly recommended.

  • Still one of the best stadiums in Germany. The atmosphere is just great!

  • Every time a sublime feeling if you climb the steps to the stadium up. Justpay staff is sufficient. Operation on drinks and food stalls, plus security staff of friendly (home fans). Mood class. Only drawback: parking-not
