  • We have made this little trip of Tangermünde. A MUST-SEE! Some top renovated. There is still much to do. An audio guide is recommended. A very informative exhibition on the world's different religions. Very well done! The monastery garden is also very nice. You can book also a "torch night" at the distillery of monastery of. There are also apartments. Like everywhere there is a souvenir shop here, too, this distinguishes itself clearly from others. Very friendly service, which also explains and advises.

  • The Premonstratensian monastery is a climax of German Romanesque (and stage of the Romanesque Road). The very large, well preserved and well-kept brick plant shows a wonderfully simple interior with an open crypt and upper choir level. Worth seeing is also the traditional cloister.

  • The tickets were just a few euros - if you don't read German be sure to borrow the recorder (but they will want your car keys as collateral). Getting the headset was well worth it - otherwise we would...  more »

  • Had a great few hours here. Interesting museum and grounds
  • A beautiful facility with a beautiful cloister garden. Very much recommended for a little trip, so you should allow 1 to 2 hours.
