  • Very good collection of living plants, both outside and in greenhouses. Especially liked the Alpine slides with different types of MOSS and aquariums with carnivorous plants. An important recommendation-it makes no sense to go there in the winter or late fall, this time to see something beautiful can only in greenhouses. The best time, of course, spring-flowering magnolia blossoms, all incredible! Well, summer is good too, all in green, pleases the eye. You can buy flowers for your home or seeds.

  • No matter what time of the year, who would like to take a trip with a toddler, is right here. The greenhouses are great especially in the winter, the grounds are beautiful in any other season — there is to discover more than one might think at first glance of this seemingly manageable garden.

  • Really very beautiful botanical garden, unfortunately not for all Jena students admission is free! The Ernst-Abbe college students have to pay admission.

  • The Botanical Garden of Jena have really succeeded. Groomed, not too expensive, and every season worth a look. Also larger than you expected from outside first of all. Also, the summer festival of the University, which will take place for parts in the Botanical Garden is very recommended.
