Alpsee Bergwelt, Immenstadt im Allgau
Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Nestled in the town of Immenstadt along the Austrian border, Alpsee Bergwelt offers Alpine-themed amusement in a mountain setting. Zip along the 3 km (1.86 mi) toboggan course--the longest one in Germany, and operated year-round. Test yourself on Bavaria's largest ropes course, which consists of 16 different runs, and tackle jumps as high as 18 m (59 ft). The park includes an extensive network of scenic trails and a system of chairlifts. After your activities, stop by the on-site restaurant for Bavarian specialties and a variety of drinks. Those with mobility issues may want to pass on this attraction. We were more or less the only guests, so no waiting time. From the mountain you have a beautiful view on the Alpsee. The toboggan run is almost 3 km long and has many curves. You can determine the speed. During the journey, a photo is taken, which then can be purchased in the shop. The length of the toboggan run, the curves and the views are awesome. For me, the Alpsee coaster is the by far the best toboggan run.show original

Actually we wanted to further to the Summit, but were then shocked, that's probably again an hour would take to get there. To the mountain station, there is much to experience, including huge wooden animals for the kids (probably against entry?), a large climbing forest, alpacas to the Petting, a restaurant, trampolines and just the Alpsee coaster. We were about 30 minutes, but worth the wait. One reason for the delays is that you paid when same people help one in the sled. Since we were both not along with the backpack in a sled, we have given spontaneously to a Korean woman behind us. The trip was great, if also a bit hectic. It instructs staff to drive fast. In the face of the high-speed Korean girls behind us that was even better so :) Be still mentioned on the edge: who seeks not the kick the longest all-weather toboggan in Germany (?) and would like to save you waiting time, can go in the neighbouring Oberstaufen the summer toboggan run where you simply sits on the sled on the Valley and the lift upwards will.show original
Terrible service at the ticket sale unless you speak German. Fun ride though.
Ruediger WillNice ambiance, class toboggan runshow original
Sebastian KlettThe toboggan run and climbing park are really super here. We were with a large group here and everything was very organized and quick and has been really fun. The toboggan run is one of the best where I was until now.show original
Florian FröhlichThe waiting time for the downhill is an absolute fiasco. Over 1 hour standing for a 3-minute drive? And nowhere we queued one tells how long it takes about. Screwed up unfortunately absolutely the otherwise perfect day ride high, us delicious lunches and climb. Here, the operator must urgently repair!show original
Har SchmThe weather was unfortunately windier than expected, but's re-heated in the mountain hut then went on the Roddelbahn and this is mighty fun. There are many curves and a long train. I'm going back with my kid on the Roddelbahn!show original
