  • Visit the Marienbruck to have the best views of the Neuschwanstein Castle. In addition, the bridge is built on top of this waterfall. The view is awesome!

  • If you came to Hohenschwangau castle, just one day to see Neuschwanstein Castle, almost certainly not visited this picturesque Gorge, a framing the rock upon which the Castle stands. And therefore never understood why Ludwig chose this place for the construction of the castle of your dreams. We had such an opportunity, as we stayed for two nights in Hohenschwangau. And did it twice already. The first time we are trapped in this Gorge almost by accident just down the path to the falls from the bridge Marienbrûkke. Do a few tourists, but still make and admiring the beautiful waterfall at the bottom and at the top of the bridge. But few continues its journey further along the coast the bubbling River. And this must be done! The gorge becomes quite narrow, the flow of water all faster and you find yourself in the wild, but on the equipped path that goes along the coast, climbs the suspension bridge around rocks and displays you the Hohenschwangau Valley. A great walk! I think her repeatedly committed Ludwig. It is possible to think, admiring the cliffs and streams of water from the mountains overthrown.

  • Access to the bridge in July wasn't possible for rockfall danger. The walk to the bridge is still impressive and hike allows you to take good photos.
