Hockenheimring, Hockenheim
(4.4/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Host to the German Grand Prix, Hockenheimring is a motor circuit that seats more than 120,000 spectators in grandstands installed by Mercedes-Benz. Before 2002, the track was significantly longer, but the millennium saw a refurbishment that shortened it and added tighter corners. Many races are held outside of the Grand Prix, so check the track schedule on the attraction's website. • The hotel has very little in the years. Alas, that is not reinvested! Location of course still helps to bookings, but eventually it stayed shut then in place. The breakfast buffet is very good.

  • We visited the ring in August, they had a public race day where people could register and race against each other, the event was great, it lasted the whole weekend and you could also rent a place for ...  more »
  • DTM finale hosted by AUDI. In the annex a few pictures that should speak for themselves. Again and again!

  • It was an awesome experience to watch a race live and not as usually on television. I can absolutely recommend it to all fans of fast and loud cars!
  • Cool place to go. Important to know (for next time) you can take your own food and drinks and avoid this long queues to get a sausage or a beer. Your bags will be checked but just for security.
  • I was there joining a competition, called formula student Germany. It was great place to be there. I have a great memories there .
  • Historical Race track, it was magical to finally visit, and see an F1 race in person! getting in and out during race time is a headache, give yourself at least 30 minutes more than expected especially if you want to leave late. Also on Sunday all roads lead to the track, so don't think about forgetting something and having to go back to your hotel.
  • One of the best track from spectator point of view. Infrastructures are aging though
