Hockenheimring, Hockenheim
(4.4/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Host to the German Grand Prix, Hockenheimring is a motor circuit that seats more than 120,000 spectators in grandstands installed by Mercedes-Benz. Before 2002, the track was significantly longer, but the millennium saw a refurbishment that shortened it and added tighter corners. Many races are held outside of the Grand Prix, so check the track schedule on the attraction's website. • During a Trackday event driven - in the rain the first time there. Challenging and tricky at the conditions, good price (small). Investment obviously missing the Paddock to meet today's standards of a range. The facilities are pretty angeranzt, toilets and facilities are modernized

  • From my point of view, the Hockenheimring with your good location on two motorways and the professional staff is the best German race track. Have enough bad examples from the former East...

  • hockenheim is great fun to drive, with a combination of fast sections and a technical in field. for most part good run off areas, except in the motordrome where there is gravel in case you go long ;)

  • It was an awesome experience to watch a race live and not as usually on television. I can absolutely recommend it to all fans of fast and loud cars!
  • Cool place to go. Important to know (for next time) you can take your own food and drinks and avoid this long queues to get a sausage or a beer. Your bags will be checked but just for security.
  • I was there joining a competition, called formula student Germany. It was great place to be there. I have a great memories there .
  • Historical Race track, it was magical to finally visit, and see an F1 race in person! getting in and out during race time is a headache, give yourself at least 30 minutes more than expected especially if you want to leave late. Also on Sunday all roads lead to the track, so don't think about forgetting something and having to go back to your hotel.
  • One of the best track from spectator point of view. Infrastructures are aging though
