  • This hike provides a great view of Heidelberg and the castle and is not packed with tourists! There is an outdoor amphitheater and ancient monastery hidden at the top that make it all the more worth i...  more »
  • If is visit the city, not there is that losing is the exercise of climbing it costs that goes from the bridge until the ride. That Yes, the climb up the stairs is tired and it takes about 15 minutes. But once it comes up, you have the best views of Heidelberg. Further along the promenade, there are several viewpoints where you can sit and enjoy the views.

  • although partly uphill, this lovely walk outside of and above Heidelberg has a variety of small cafes so you can replenish drained energy with fresh coffee and cake (plus sandwiches etc) along the way...  more »
