  • It was a surprise to find this museum inside the Castle. The exhibition is excellent, with pharmacy interiors and equipment: well recommended!

  • The collection is interesting but very dusty, dead, and sometimes difficult to view. The glassware in particular needs a clean. The majority of the visitors are clearly hardly interested in the exhibited pieces and mindlessly march through without looking around. Nevertheless, a Bunson-era bunson burner and three complete pharmacist shelving systems are highlights. Text in English and German. If you're really interested in the contents, try to avoid the crowds, who clearly don't care. If you're just interested in the castle, this is one of the few places you can go inside at no extra cost.
  • Amazing experience! I am so happy I had the chance to visit!
  • Very interesting. 30 minutes.
  • Great museum, wonderful setup
  • Amazing! This museum housed in Heidelberg Castle show case more than 20,00 exhibits in over 2000 years of pharmaceutical history. As you go through the labyrinth passages containing the exhibits you'll feel living through the different eras of pharmaceutical history. The setting is quite realistic.
