  • The Sunday Heidelberg with February rainy weather is ideal for museums and admissions. We are looking at something the Museum landscape and encounter the Kurpfälzisches Museum on the net. We start towards old town, enter the area of the imposing entrance on the main road, and are located in a beautiful garden setting. Here, the gastronomy, the now but not at stake is probably in the summer months. We go through the beautiful old doors and come in the Palais of Moraß. During the checkout process, we have to wait unfortunately too long because someone wants to somehow extend its membership or the museum pass or expand. Actually, less than 15 minutes wait theme of the Museum Administration or of the circles of friends and not the cashier as we and two other visitors to purchase our tickets. Positive turn of the small SB-Café area with donation payment. Unfortunately disproportionate but with a total of six people in line. The Museum is thematically and built according to era. Part interests me in the most ancient times. The teeth of Homo Heidelbergsis and life in the Celtic and Roman periods attract my interest. You are original sculptures from the old bridge in the lapidarium. In the city's history, you can find great costumes from ancient times. Basically, no red thread and also far too many texts beautiful exhibits, city history, much art from the 16-19 century, but for my taste. The signage is also slightly confused and inconclusive, so we us not finden...und I am actually a walking compass. A museum now has other media means instead of just text and prints. Also, more flexible exhibitions for a such a broad topic landscape are interesting. And I had children, they would have shot me, if I would've taken it. But for €1.80 (weekdays €3) a totally fair price. After about 1.5 hours we leave the Museum and dedicate ourselves to coffee pleasure, very creative is satisfying in Heidelberg. Conclusion: Quite ok, but I would have preferred to see the House of Cajuth.

  • Here you can see very much. The diversity of the exhibition is very large. City history through paintings of various periods (romanticism, modernism and others orginalgetreuer equipment of rooms from the ancient time up to archaeological finds. The admission price is unusually cheap. The special exhibition for this expensive but quite interesting.
