  • Very nice view of Heidelberg, in partially sunny winter weather. With the mountain railway from the grain market at midday on the Königsstuhl drove and then on the way back yet on a tour of the Castle did. Was a great Sunday.

  • It can be very nice walks on the Königstuhl. You can go for a ride with the funicular above but also in the fairy tale paradise or to falconry. The whole area invites for relaxing hiking. For families with strollers that do not always necessarily suitable. We would like to but only in falconry or fairy tale paradise, comes easily with a stroller there. Also by car, you can go up to the Königstuhl. Up there, there's lots of parking, and it wouldn't surprise me if they find any. In the summer, it is however very Crowdy has top views of Heidelberg and the Neckar Valley from there.

  • You can fastest old town (grain market) of the Königstuhl mountain railway reach (about €12). This holds even at the Castle and the whey cure. If you have more time, can you high hiking or if you have the condition: cycling. You can do both from all directions. The northern slope towards old town is this most steepest. You can cycle through the many hiking trails, mountain bike or on the paved roads with the road. To overcome this approx. 470 m from the Neckar to the Summit at 571m. Above is a small snack which offers drinks and snacks and is actually mostly open. There are also still a fairytale Park for children and a falconry. Otherwise, there is a fantastic view on clear days up in the Palatinate forest on the entire upper Rhine plain.
