  • First of all: Who's in a hurry is wrong here and should go to the supermarket. Here is peace and peace of mind and that's why I go there. The selection is varied and there are many sweets that you find difficult in normal store shelves. At the beginning, they say the value of the goods for its confectionery. Then you may display as long on all things one would like to have until the money is empty. A very dear Lady takes over the bag and calculating :) In addition to the bags, even whole pies can be ordered. Is it to find candy from all over the world there. After assembling the stuff you get at the box office. But simply isn't here. It is played with dice and a large mug. By still more candy. It takes something but much fun. Let surprise you!

  • This place is the absolute madness! There is a very nice selection of candy from around the world. The owner is super nice and makes the one or the other games happy times with customers. Very friendly atmosphere, as if you were on a different, very beautiful planet. As the business is very small and popular, should suffer under fear of space and time. But worth every minute in this dreamland! Only the hours are a little stupid, but good track. I'm glad there's you!

  • For over 30 years, there is the picturesque sugar load in the Heidelberg Street Plöck 52. Entering a different world, where time seems to stand still – therefore you should bring on plenty of time. No matter how long the queue in small business, everyone gets a friendly Word and an anecdote is exchanged. And not to forget. After paying another dice game is played with the customer, where the customer on the basis of very free rules are still a small candy WINS :-) The cakes and works of art from all kinds of sweets are produced in the House.

  • Looks very unhygienic and the most unfriendly owner ever.
  • If you're a tourist this is a must see. Traditional candy store with a nice owner.
  • It's a great place, even if you don't have children. There are many things to look at and every type of candy you can think of. It's more of an experience than a shop. The owner is hilarious and very animated which make this a good place to stop.
  • It's just an iconic and funny place in Heidelberg. A tiny sweet shop on Plöck great for kids as they can choose sweets they like. The atmosphere inside is quite weird and a dentist chair in the window makes it even more bizarre. Definitely a must go place of you with children in Heidelberg.
  • Since my first visit I am in a child like state of awe whenever I think of it. It is truly beautiful. Juergen and Marion are fantastic. Besides the castle and the bridge, it is the one thing one has to see in Heidelberg as it represents in such a wonderful way waht Heidelberg is about.

Where to stay in Heidelberg

Most of the city's lodging is centralized near Altstadt, the Old Town. Here cafes, shops, and tourist sites line the cobbled streets. Many of the guesthouses here work hard to retain the area's historical feel.
