  • This place has a cult like following with people from around the world constantly returning. They have the best marzipan in the world here in my opinion and you can hunk it up in 100g chunks like buyi...  more »
  • The shop is quite dark without Windows, slightly claustrophobic, with many sweets until where the eye can see. One feels transported into the past. The owner is somewhat quirky; You can be forever, because is rolled with the holder for the payment. Stand after 20 minutes was me too much and I have paid directly from the wife of the owner. Overall, it was worth a visit, but I can not understand the effusive comments.

  • This is a very unique place out of another time. It is run by an old couple and it is sometimes very full with people.  more »

  • If you're a tourist this is a must see. Traditional candy store with a nice owner.
  • It's a great place, even if you don't have children. There are many things to look at and every type of candy you can think of. It's more of an experience than a shop. The owner is hilarious and very animated which make this a good place to stop.
  • It's just an iconic and funny place in Heidelberg. A tiny sweet shop on Plöck great for kids as they can choose sweets they like. The atmosphere inside is quite weird and a dentist chair in the window makes it even more bizarre. Definitely a must go place of you with children in Heidelberg.
  • Since my first visit I am in a child like state of awe whenever I think of it. It is truly beautiful. Juergen and Marion are fantastic. Besides the castle and the bridge, it is the one thing one has to see in Heidelberg as it represents in such a wonderful way waht Heidelberg is about.
  • If supratechnologically advanced aliens arrived one day, this place, along with Mozart and ball sports would be why they chose not to eliminate us.
