  • The Memorial is in the essential an exhibition on the life of President Friedrich Ebert. Ebert grew up in the underclass, there is little authentic material, which could be shown from his childhood and youth. The rooms in the House of his childhood are expressly furnished according to the taste and the possibilities of that time (around 1870), without actually claim to represent Eberts apartment. The permanent exhibition is informative and focused more on the political history. Thematic focal points are the labor movement and the Weimar Republic, little überrasschend.

  • The Friedrich Ebert Memorial includes only a few rooms, but they give a very good overview of many facets in the life of Ebert. This is very clearly presented, so that you can learn a lot in a short time. Highly recommended!
