  • The car is really nice to visit. A section of the Black Forest Railway was rebuilt here with a lot of love. With children a good visit. When you stand outside you can choose a train in the Cabinet and as soon as this leaves you go quickly and the whole trip can track the train to the complete system then once.

  • As someone without a doubt has taken so much trouble: a beautiful landscape of model railway was built on the area of a former small supermarket here very nice and with love to detail. Ultimately it is but in 1 hour, and leaving to better the jacket in the winter, because it is only moderately hot. And for visitors of the miniature Wonderland in Hamburg: you may not draw the comparison of course.

  • Unfortunately the staff is very unfriendly, or a bad day. Without enter dog, one can understand, absolutely in structure. A parking place in the shade, there parked, but then was immediately a woman around to gripe, must remain free, could get a delivery, etc., etc., not even wanted to stop to read us the riot act although it explains the problem dog, hot, summer. (Delivery miniature country??) Wanted to look at this because with some large tour groups here in the Black Forest, as tour guides, holiday wanted to make and further give also in miniature. In of course didn't go because this club was no entrance fees!

  • The biggest model train collection I've ever seen! Plus it has replicas of places in the Black Forest region. Every detail even down to the trucks and cars that motor down the roadways is amazing. A must see if you're in the Hausach area.
  • A great museum about the Back Forest train
  • Gorgeous, couldn't get the kids out...
  • Fantastic! The kids were well impressed.
  • I had a one hour break between trains at Hausach station and wandered over to the cafe in the Schwarzwald-Modell-Bahn. By the time I reached Schwarzwald-Modell-Bahn I had less than half an hour because of an incredible experience at the bar at the station where I felt like an intruder. I walked in and the lady behind the bar served me a beer in the most begrudging manner. She didn't say a word - or smile. She was VERY unfriendly. A man was sitting at the bar drinking a beer and he looked very sad. There was another sad looking man sitting at a table; he seemed to be a friend of the lady behind of the bar. This place clearly doesn't like visitors! Especially English speaking people from Australia! The experience across the road at the cafe at the model railway was just the opposite. The friendly woman suggested a cold snack because of our limited time (less than half an hour at this stage) and coffee. Just what the doctor ordered! And at a most reasonable cost (by Australian standards). I didn't have time to look at the model display but told the lady I had worked in a model train shop in Melbourne Australia nearly 50 years ago and had sold items similar she had advertised! Hausach seemed a lovely little town to spend a break between trains. I would strongly recommended avoiding the bar at the station and walk across the road to the model railway even if it's only the cafe you plan to visit.
