Holiday Park GmbH, Hassloch

2.9
#31 of 98 in Theme Parks in Germany
One of the most popular amusement parks in Germany, Holiday Park GmbH features an antique merry go-round, storm ship, roaring river, free-fall tower, and much more. Thrill-seekers shouldn't miss the BigFM Expedition GeForce rollercoaster, which reaches a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) and has received several awards. When you first arrive, check the schedule for the live water show; you'll want to arrive early to get a good seat--but stay clear of the first 10 rows if you want to stay dry. Food outlets include barbeque, schnitzelhaus, and ice cream stands. Using our world travel planner, Hassloch attractions like Holiday Park GmbH can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

We have visited during the week of the holiday park of this time and had therefore not so long there are. We traveled by train and then by shuttle bus. What struck me at first negative was that the shuttle bus departs only hourly from the station and as the train arrives, then still an hour wait depending on the bus. In addition, the bus is much too small and therefore also always relatively well filled. Arrived at the Park, we drove the g force, which is really to recommend first. As we but again wanted to continue after we had to again get out of the train due to a technical defect. We can visit the holiday park more often once in a year have we used already on it, that any of the attractions in the Park are constantly broken. On the day the G - force 3 times due to a technical defect was closed, also for a time the FreefallTower was closed and the Thunder River Flume and the lighthouse tower were not in operation. My opinion is saved pretty much on the maintenance and the repair of the attractions as it may be a coincidence that always any attractions are broken at each visit to the holiday park. Otherwise, the theme park has just the right size relaxed to spend a day there because most of the attractions also repeatedly drive. In addition, the two coasters are really great. The prices for food and beverages are completely outrageous and the quality of the food is not particularly (in each canteen there are better food than there). Also, the portions for an adult are ridiculous. Conclusion: Since the Park is mine in the vicinity we visit him probably again and then hope that finally again received more money for the maintenance of the attractions in the hand and we not take due to a technical defect on attractions do without.

We were with the family and with 2 girls 8 + 12 years old in the Park on a sunny, warm Saturday, beginning of August in the middle of the holidays. The last time I was there 17 years ago has little changed. Except that I very often hear the phrase was "the roller coaster just unfortunately due to maintenance work not in operation. How long it will take I can't tell but you." And not only at the sky scream but also with GeForce. This was not operational several hours. One speaks here of main attractions probably noted! As we then 15 min people see hang up in the FreeFall, it passed our little ones very quickly and it remained only the beach bar and more many fun rides. Ah, the lighthouse tower was from the front in of the day out of order. From the beach bar we have looked at then the water ski show... horrible! 4-5 jumps over the ramp, otherwise more motor boat show as water skiing... 17 years ago it was even better. Otherwise, the staff is very helpful and friendly. To pay EUR 11 for a Fryer Escalope (about 100 g) with French fries we did not see a then also. Candy floss for EUR 3 there was then but still as a conclusion. We sure won't come back.

We were now 3 x within one month of da (annual passes), and it remains the same impression. Always something is defective, sometimes when one already exists and has been waiting for. Looks cheap and also does not inspire confidence when ever the technician called. Staff usually unkempt, often also unfriendly and unmotivated, but this one can understand; runs but for example in the country of Maja continuously Helene Fischers "Maya the bee song". Since I will be on for 2 x already mad. If you must endure the 8 h of the piece, that borders on torture. Food is expensive, but ok, even if only the famous junk food. Everywhere, you can make several games for very high extra costs. They offer less far-prices and give the impression of fraud (from the claw machines as we have see anybody win something). You constantly have your impression that lacks money and therefore saves on all corners. Dear Tripsdrill, the Europa Park, the Zoo or the Museum!

We arrived to the park around 10 am. There were already huge lines at the check-in, we had to wait more than half hour to get our tickets. We paid 170EUR to get inside the park, and to be honest we could try only 5-6 toys during the day due the very long waiting times (we had to wait at least 1 hour to get in! every time). It's absolutely unacceptable that you got this low service against your money! We visited the park on workday, I can't imagine, how many people they let in at the weekends???!!! Moreover we had to pay extra cost for parking, extra cost for using water-pistol, extra cost for the remote control toys. We didn't try to buy any food/drink..... For us this was the first and the last time to visit this holiday park. We are absolutely unsatisfied......

Has Expedition GeForce which is widely regarded as being one of the best coasters in Europe and possibly the world. It lives up to the hype and is definitely well worth a visit just for that. Otherwise the other attractions are fairly standard. Would be nice to have a few more coasters but given the park is actually cheaper than a lot of its rivals. Would recommend!

Great park! Mix of attractions for kids and adults. No long waiting lines even in mid summer. Great waterski show.

Holiday Park has one of the best coasters in the world with Expedition GeForce. Even after 16 years, this ride is still very exciting! The park is pleasant to walk through with a lot of shade, and many of the new areas have decent scenery - especially the Sky Scream surroundings. Aside from the coasters, there's a good selection of flat and water rides for everyone. The Drop Tower (Anubis) delivers some thrills and a great view on Expedition GeForce too. Ride operations could be improved on GeForce, but otherwise I had a pleasant day at Holiday Park!

A pleasant amusement park. Price is acceptable for the amount of spectacle. The water rides are the best part.
