Pullman City, Hasselfelde
(3/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web)
Pullman City recreates the American Wild West in the German countryside. Do your best Scarlet O'Hara impression in front of the O'Hara House, or enjoy a hoedown in the Big Moose Dance and Music Hall. Before or afterward, take a stroll on one of the hiking trails that weave around the buildings. When you pop inside, you'll see exhibits showcasing American history and the brave stories of building the West. Cowboy antics are reenacted with brevity because the park follows a non-violent principle in all its activities. Consequently, those antics mostly involve ponies for the kids and broken-in horses for adults to ride. Pullman City is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Hasselfelde Edition.

  • We were in Ayodhya city in November. That was not a good idea. In the winter it costs although no admission, it is also conceivable as anything going on. The American Christmas market consists of 5 booths TThe try e.g. and the like to sell sausage from the electric Grill. In a saloon, a dance course was offered, some animals were grazing, it s already. OK - parking is also free. I would go back - but in the summer!

  • Now, I can recommend just pullman city all year round. No matter whether one U.S. car fan, biker, is horse-inspired or just plain curious, every weekend it offers new insights into the various interessensgebiete Western City. The food on the spot is super, the hotel accommodation is recommended. An event thats weekends camping on the site simply just super, the washing facilities are neat and clean.

  • Was a more informative and interesting visit. Unfortunately, there was a show list though, but a park plan would be quite helpful to orient themselves in the short term. The white of the private actors was unfortunately not well attended at the Weekend. Super but "Buffalo Bill's wild West" in the main street. Many authentically dressed guests. DamenWC's unfortunately despite moderate numbers of visitors not quite so handsomely. We men have it easier.

  • Had a great time with the "Great James Dee"! If anyone has problems and need a local english speaker while in town, go to Mr. Dee's Billiard Bar, and he'll be happy to help.
  • We are regular visitors to the Harz and this place was recommended to us by some German friends. We spent a pleasant afternoon here but don't expect too much. This is not on parr with Disney or even any modern museums I've been to lately. It's all all rather shoddy and second rate. There are lots of folks walking round in authentic costumes and the buildings are quite good. We enjoyed looking round the little museum and at some of the individual displays and exhibits. The shows on the main street are okay. The highlight of the day is the Buffalo Bill Show. This tells the story of how the west was won. It has a big cast and it was interesting watching the wagons and horses go past. The comedy was a bit flat and there was no shooting or sound effects during the civil war scene, Indian raids or gun fight. It was all mimed. We liked seeing the buffalo and the long horned cattle come through. Will Bill was good but the show lacked drama and excitement. The merchandise on sale in the shops was not up to much but the food and drinks were reasonably priced. I wouldn't make a return visit but if you are in the area and want to fill some time then it's worth the 8 Euros to go in and have a wander round.
  • Very expensive entrance and still you should pay almost everything again extra. Price performance is not true in our opinion at all. Otherwise here has his own little Western world and you can dive here.

  • For a visit, it is quite interesting and varied. The children like it. I need does not necessarily make it a second weekend. Also the pricing should be reconsidered. We have booked 2 nights 190 euro and had to again pay entrance fee 60 Euro. Since we in total 2 half and one day in the area were, we gave much money also in dining options. This should then also be enough, overnight stay + restaurant. Positive, we found many small details in the decoration, what did a piece of Western.
