  • The castle was privately owned for hundreds of years but since about 2000 has been managed by a Trust. Our small group tour (6, including our tour leader) arrived here on a cold a foggy day in Decembe...  more »
  • We visited the castle in winter and could not enter the premises but worth the visit just strolling through the inner courtyard and seeing the different buildings, each different season january 1.

  • A castle that you must pay an entrance fee to get in, but it needs to do in most places. However, it is money well invested, because it is a beautiful and worth seeing castles.
