Erlebnis Zoo Hannover, Hannover
(4.4/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Erlebnis Zoo Hannover first opened its doors in 1865, making this one of Germany's oldest zoological parks. As you wander the 22 hectares (54.3 acres) of exhibits and habitats, you'll notice lush, realistic enclosures. The zoo prides itself on having few visible barriers between visitors and its 3,500 animals. You can walk through seven regions of the world, including the Zambezi, Yukon Bay, the Outback, and Gorilla Mountain. Follow the 5 km (3.1 mi) explorer path for the recommended route through the zoo. Ask about a guided tour if you'd like to learn more about the zoo's residents and its conservation efforts. Children will also enjoy the petting zoo and several playgrounds. • Unfortunately I did not a good experience with the Meyers in the gastronomy in the Zoo what now the individual catering departments eg in the maku wapp and goes to the also-caterer in other departments or belong to the independent operation of the Zoo can not exactly say I... Price is Portemonaiunangemessen for the arms probably take him Bevölkerung...jedoch which must Zoo which is worst kind but unfortunately I think unvermeidlich...nehmen we the animal enclosures in appearances are very gepflegt...allerdings are the keepers and the entire staff that I think (hold the door and do something for your pittance) of course every visitor if man you is met with cool Fleppe! Line fault I think! Make mine probably by the higher staff better to so that I be the Zoo very Mobbingverseucht halte...vorschlag nice good restaurateurs inserts which are easy) otherwise the Zoo is worth a visit and has also the 3 points much for kids are not so bad so! One may be curious how long the zoo keeps these prices or must be still more expensive because the cost of living of animals rising Portemonaiunangemessen on the one hand okay but for ordinary citizens completely unfortunately... I think it's too bad the great supporters zb.jemand who has time really much money because not even gives a financial boost to the survival. I can imagine too much Atrbeit is in the enterprise that is me very clearly but in the whole management is missing what can we do to motivate us personally to be friendly to the customers nice and polite and that work also monetary seen for the Zoo workers, and also for all the akraktiver is and I mean so many would do at a reasonable leadership other problems... otherwise nice Zoo MFG Thomas Stephan

  • A day at the Zoo Hannover is certainly not a cheap pleasure, but an amusement park visit costs too much money and you can spend easily a whole day in the Zoo without, it gets boring. Apart from a few exceptions (which are now improved) it seems there very well the animals, which is personally very important to me.

  • We have a season ticket for years and go to visitor poor days. Very very good as always. Especially Yukon Bay is recommended

  • A must go if you have time to visit it while in Hannover. The animals can be seen in pens which are very similar to their natural habitat. There is a lot of effort put into ensuring you are as close to the animals as safely possible. We got to see the seal show in the Yukon stadium which was a treat. Highly recommended to visit
  • This was the absolute coolest zoo I've ever been to. It really feels authentic. The animals do not look like they are in cages, they look very free and happy. The facility is very well taken care of. Also, this is the very first zoo I've been to where you can actually go into some of the enclosures and get super close! After 4:30 PM (16:30), entrance fee is only 6€. That's a steal! You definitely see where the money goes here. I can't wait to go again.
  • Well, it's a city Zoo. U can imagine this can not be the biggest one. I want to share one experience. I lost my English Zoo plan after entry and was far away. I asked in shops for a new one but they had only german plans. After Asking for it and unfriendly answer I got the Information to go to the entrance of the Zoo. Where I found another shop. After asking with wrong information where I didn't get one, I downloaded the plan. Bad service for foreign ppl.
  • Great zoo. Spend 3 days here before we saw it all. One day 7 hours. Only minus is that no info is in English. It is only a zoo for people who speak German.
  • My favourite zoo in central Europe (I've been to many), food can be expensive but is expected, you can always pack food as tables are free to use without purchase of food. entrance ticket includes everything from shows at scheduled times and boat rides showing off some enclosures up close like the giraffe enclosure and various others.
