Tourist Spot
Home to the German Bundesliga club Hamburger SV, Volksparkstadion was one of the stadiums used during the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The site has been home to a stadium since 1925, though it was rebuilt in 1953 and again in 1998, due to increasing safety concerns and the need for greater capacity. If you aren't in town for a soccer match or a concert, take a tour of the stadium, or visit the museum to learn about its history. Make Volksparkstadion part of your personalized Hamburg itinerary using our Hamburg tourist route planner.

  • We saw a good football match in fine frames on the beautiful Volkspark Stadium in Hamburg. The logistics surrounding the battle settlement works great and there are good conditions with regard to the purchase of supplies. There could well be a little more toilets. The stadium and the passionate supporters form a perfect setting for a good football game. Absolutely recommendable for any football fan.

  • It is impossible not to enjoy the atmosphere generated by the fans of this team! If one loves soccer, it is exciting to see the passion of the people. We went to watch the game against Hoffenheim yesterday and it was very good both the game and the stadium. It is an area of more than 50,000 people. Depending on the game, it is the price of tickets, we pay each €22 in a corner of the stadium and no matter the sector, looks super good. With the entrance, public transport can be used for round-trip. It is a good visit for anyone Qur'an like soccer, whether you like the Bundesliga or not interested.

  • We were with our Association guest at HSV. A full Stadium and attractively. The security was unusually friendly. As you're gone, so you will just receive. :-) The range of snacks and drinks is not nearly as good in the guest area and diverse as in other floating around the stadium. The seats offer normal seating comfort. No view of the playing field is blocked by the lack of railings from the seats. Positive. Likewise, the fact that one the ground of the grandstands has roughened, no slippery film on the ground that lets people slip and fall down. The most stages that I have visited in Germany, have all smooth levels and grandstands, which can then mutate when wet to slides. Arrival and departures with the public transport routes are negative. You take the S-Bahn and is brought in connection with shuttle buses to the stadium. As far as reasonable. Only, this shuttle station is so poorly because there is no sensible signs for it. And the few signs that exist, have been sealed up so it no longer can be read.

  • If you're ever around Hamburg and get an opportunity to watch a game or event here, please do. Great atmosphere, high energy and overall a fun experience.
  • Hello i Sharif live in Egypt 28 years I've been a player staunch defender and a fierce but I left football three years ago due to illness and my father because I was poor, but rich in myself and in the hearts of others, I am very angry because of what happens to the team. I hope to get a chance to train the team
  • Really cool stadium with great stuff. I was here at AC/DC concert and everything is pretty well.
  • Great atmosphere, but actually HSV doesn't really plays good.
  • Lots to drink and eat. Good atmosphere
