  • It was so cold. Good luck for us and the animals there are lots of houses to visit the animals inside. I felt really close to the animals, some love to get in contact with you. You can watch the sea c...  more »
  • We were in the Feb at Hagenbeck and have renounced the field visit because of the cold. We went to the Aquarium. Great atmosphere and many beautiful fish - sea - and fresh water. Would go there again.

  • This Super Zoo. really liked it, spent the whole day there. When you log on you can buy food for elephants and not only, but in my opinion it was expensive, so take carrots and cabbage and a previously cleaned and cut into pieces. for children just delight! Yes that talk, we rejoiced as small)))

  • Not a very large zoo, but definitely a great one. Having lived most of my life in a Tropical Climate I was impressed with how their green house has a diverse group of animals available for viewing. Perhaps the best feature of this zoo, however, is the ability to hand feed the elephants and giraffes.
  • Took a trip to Hagenbeck Zoo and thoroughly enjoyed it. It covers a large area and as such it is easy to spend an entire day here. Especially with young kids. There was a little lack of English though, some signs did have facts in English, however the majority of text is all in German. Google translate came was very handy. There is a large play area for children which came as a bit of a relief and plenty of food stalls. All staff that we encountered were very friendly.
  • This is a really nice zoo with lots of animals and nice ponds so also a great place for a relaxing stroll.
  • Fantastic zoo. Elephants were awesome. Guinea pig village was a hit with the kids.
  • The Hamburger Zoo, one of the only big ones who are still private. This reflects dramatically on the prices. But the cages are huge, animals happy and guests in awe because of this beautiful designed area. Recommend!
