  • Planten un Blomen is one of the nicest places in Hamburg. The plants, threes, and nature in general is beautiful. There are places to sit down and have a nice peaceful time with a loved one, or a picnic with friends. Water flows along the whole area in a river. There are hills and valleys. And all of this is in the heart of Hamburg. If you want, and I would highly recommend it, you go where with some friends. Bring some food. Have a nice time. And as the sun sets you walk on over to St. Pauli (which is just around the corner). Or why not bring a date and afterwards go to the Hamburger Dom? Of course it gets a bit crowded when there is good weather in the summer.
  • This place is truly wonderful to come hang out on a fine day. Whether lazing about with your family, hanging with your friends or even chilling alone with a good read: this place is just perfect for relaxing or playing outdoor games. It's size also adds to the possibilities of finding a quiet or less frequented spot.
  • It is a beautiful park with lots of flowers, it had a lovely vibe, the atmosphere was great, the fountain was gorgeous. It's very clean, very calm and relaxing. It's free to enter and a few cafés inside to get some thing to eat or drink. It's suitable for studying, reading or just having a relaxing time. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who visits Hamburg. It's a must see.
  • A Marvellous Botanic Garden with Entertainment options! Built 198 years ago, it has evolved in terms of the number and variety of plants and flowers-- as well as size. It is now covers about 47 hectares/116 acres... and, in addition to the wonderful displays of plants and flowers, it also hosts many musical performances, water-light shows and public performances. In the southern part of the gardens there is also a very large and interesting playground! The gardens have also been awarded TripAdvisor's coveted 'certificate of Excellence". A visit will not only be memorable--- but, on a sunny day it is very enjoyable!! I hope that this Review has been helpful!
  • Planten un Blomen is composed of several gardens which are all worth it. Going from a nice lake to a Japanese garden and a roses garden, you will also be able to admire a lot of different vegetal species in the free greenhouses. These gardens provide you various seating all along your promenade but you can also enjoy lying in the big green areas.
