  • The model railway system is very good! It is in track 1! Interesting for young and old! Ticket very cheap!

  • Also for model railway fans interest. Huge track 1 plant. There have been due to the model railway but also the exhibits to the history of Hamburg are very interesting.

  • The Museum of Hamburg history on the edge of the Reeperbahn is actually more than a regional history museum. It depicts the history of Germany at the Hamburg example. Beeidndruckend the original rooms of the jweiligen era (cf., Museum for art and crafts, Hamburg). On the basis of different rooms or items German history is tangible e.g. air-raid shelter, rent rooms, 50-years rooms, Biedermeier room, etc. Supplemented by regional themes, like port and Hamburg neighborhoods is this Museum at the height of the museum education and fully recommend.

  • Very good museum with very complete and interesting information about Hamburg from its creation to the 20st century development. I recommend to visit it as soon as you arrive in Hamburg.
  • Great displays with information also in English and a terrific audio guide. Spent almost a whole day here, but only saw the second floor. Our goal was to learn more about the Hanseatic League, this we did plus much more. We had lunch and afternoon tea in their atmospheric café: the food was tasty and staff helpful.
  • Well organized. Beautiful models and reconstructions
  • Great museum, with a logical sequence and a complete audioguide. Loved the miniatures.
  • Really good voice guidance and that is at no extra charge.
