Atmosphere and decoration at the top, it is immersed in history and in a black and dark universe hyper realistic! However there is no possible translation (actors games) and you have to be bilingual German to be fully immersed in the attraction... it's too bad (and this has not been reported to us at the entrance). The price may seem high but is justified compared to the quality of the course (approximately 1.5 hours)

It was just the hammer. Starting with the interactive play about the good scenes, and the perfect and the authentic actors there is something for everyone. The show will last about 1:45 hours where it runs from room to room, where each one is treated another eerie theme. It is definitely worth a visit.

  • Hamburg Dungeon is the place to go in the city if you like horror culture. It takes about ninety minutes to visit. It's a mixture of a museum, a ghost train and sections with acting sequences. Visits are offered both in German and English. It's slightly expensive but the experience is quite entertaining.
  • This was so much fun. Excellent way to experience the history of hamburg. Actors did a fantastic job!!
  • One must see location, if you want to save money you can order tickets a day before your visit online. Tells you everything from middle to pirate age. Understands itself as a mixture between comedy and horror theater of the dark times from Hamburg.
  • Was quite scary but definitely worth a visit!
  • Rating of 5 out of 5 is wrong! This place should be rated more than excellent! FANTASTIC!!!

Where to stay in Hamburg

The most dynamic part of the city is the St. Pauli area, also known as Kiez. This is where tourists and locals brush shoulders among the many bars, shops, and sites. Jungfernsteig, or Neuer Wall, is an upmarket area with brand name shopping and luxury dining. Consider a stay in the bohemian quarters of Altona or the Sternschanze/Schanzenviertel. These areas burst with character and offer out-of-the-ordinary shopping and dining experiences at lower prices.
