  • We were for a short holiday in Hamburg in January. While we had heard a lot about the dam Gate Hall and above all I am very interested in art, we were pleased to this exhibition. Perhaps we had too high expectations, after these reviews here, but really addressed this exhibition did not us. What good was / is: discount for students still was pretty one-sided exhibition and the artworks kept fairly simple.

  • A visit to Hamburg is not complete without a visit to this exhibition space near the Ibis hotel and the city. Peter Keetman exhibition we have seen here that still until 12 February. Really worth it. Outdoor exhibits, the Foundation the FC Gundlach collection in management. In this collection are various top photographers like Avedon and Irvin Penn. The building is superb and very suitable for exhibiting photography.

  • Totally not what I expected from a photo gallery. Most walls were covered with scraps from newspapers. Majority of photos were poor quality amateur rubbish. There were also very vivid sexual and otherwise explicit images, therefore be careful if you decide to go there with kids. If you are looking for inspiring photos- you won't find them there. Plus- no description in English. If you ask support to the staff they just explain something in German...
  • Elbriot! Absolut geil!
  • We were very disappointed in this museum. I'm not usually an art critic, and prefer an attitude of love toward artists I don't understand, or art styles that are not my preference. However, most of the exhibits when we went were boring. They mimicked good artists without understanding what those artist did. Bad photography and boring composition were common. . Honestly, I've seen better works when I was in college, and I went to a public university.
  • Good Photography exhibitions regularly
  • Tolle Ausstellungen.
