  • The Colonnaden is a street in downtown Hamburg. The Jungfernstieg, connects to the Esplanade and the Stephansplatz. Since 1974, the Colonnaden are a pedestrian area, where you will find mostly small specialty shops. The street is lined with numerous floor houses in the neo-Renaissance style. The majority of the eastern side of the road is formed by a beautiful arcade. Our stroll along the road brought us much joy. The road could be just as good in Tuscany. We have felt very comfortable.

  • When one is in the city centre you must make a small detour in the Colonnaden. Here small shops, everything is a bit quiet and not so hectic. The houses are beautifully restored, the pedestrian zone is wide. Here is nice a bit to stay there and to be impressed by the old buildings.
