Aussenalster offers a thousand-year-old recreational oasis in the midst of urban Hamburg. The manmade lake is in a historic district near the site of the former city walls. You'll encounter parks, forested areas, and a number of white, copped-roofed buildings as you wander around.   • This set of two lakes is a must-see for any trip to Hamburg. Artificial lakes created from the Alster river, the Aussenalster is bordered by the city's shopping areas (Monckebergstrasse), government (...  more »
  • At the center of the city close to the Town Hall, and the Aussenalster Lake, we are an extension of the Binnenalster Lake. The Lake is especially known by the locals, which uses it for various water activities, but especially rowing is a popular sport. We have gone there several times and enjoyed a few open plains after several hours of shopping and pastry shops.

  • Lake, is incredible by its magnitude and the park that surrounds it. There is one very high central geyser, another icon of the city, walk a little you fly into stores callle most famous city
