  • I 1557 built after 2.Weltkrieg destroyed many bow cemetery complex, but painstakingly renovated. Here rest pioneers and thinkers from Hall, like the father of the Frankeschen foundations of August Herrman Franke and many others. Also the parents of Handel, but he is buried in London. A visit to the edge of Charlottenburg is so interesting.

  • Centrally located. To reach on foot or with strabismus. Only one input on the gate tower. Open until 20: 00 in the summer. Currently up to 19 beautiful old grave sites. Certainly interesting for photographers. In blazing sun enough shade. In the week, the shoulder can be seen also the local Künstlern(Bildhauern) about. There were and are an amazing investment in obtaining the arcades and reliefs.

  • Renaissance cemetery built in 1557 in the style of a Campo Santo. The most beautiful of Germany and of the most important North of the Alps. Surrounded by walls, one enters the plant through the gate tower. 94 Schwibbögen, some with elaborate wrought-iron bars, created in the Italian style, accommodate the urns and sarcophagi of some significant Zfc citizens. Former extensions of the 19th century were transformed to the town park.

  • An enchanted Kleinod...mitten in the city. Indulging the idea during a walk, enjoy the tranquility of the hectic everyday life, or listen to the birds singing... The Schwibbögen (family or Erbbegräbnisse) were and are lovingly restored. Since 2001, urn burials are there again possible in the immediate vicinity of scholars of the University and Halle personalities!

  • The churchyard is a place of silence and contemplation, a masterpiece of the Renaissance with spectacular tombs, arches and vaults. As a born Halle can be probably still here to bury. The system is maintained by an association and painstakingly restored. Respect what is done here. Who is in the Hall and a little time brings, should visit this site.

  • This cemetery in the style of the Italian Renaissance is unique today, North of the Alps, and is under monument protection. We Halle are of course very proud of this place is located right in the Centre, just off the Boulevard. Budget of the city, grant applications and private donations, the cemetery could be cleaned up. Earth burials are on this cemetery cannot urn burials, however, already. The mourning Hall is not very large, this stylish, furnished the place according to.

  • Very nice historical cemetery. The plant is something special. You should explore the cemetery with a qualified guide. Here is the tomb of A.H.. Franke and others. A real, hidden tourist attraction.
