  • In the open-air museum, you can discover actually still something new. As Hagener, I was often there as a child and go still at least. once per year there. Just when weather is nice, it's especially nice and fun walk alone through the Valley. While you look at even the one or the other workshop and brings interesting information from the artisans themselves. Both children and adults come to their costs.

  • No matter whether young old - is this museum worth a visit. Traditional crafts are demonstrated here in a great way. Home-baked bread, hand-made cigars and many other things can be purchased locally at reasonable prices. You can enjoy a walk through nature and the individual villages in the Museum alone. In fine weather you should back up in the large village of the Museum in the beer garden. There is however still a negative note: the ladies at reception are very unfriendly and we had to get nearly 20 minutes at the entrance. We are the owner of the Ruhr top card, to us but unfortunately still at normal checkout. For other destinations, this is much better resolved and we advise here, be friendly and competent staff.

  • For children and adults, there is much to discover and learn. Blacksmithing, bakery, braid factory etc. All with hydro-electric power operated. Must a Hagen visit. Time to bring. The site is huge.

  • A great experience, especially thanks to the friendly staff that love alone explain everything one and show. There is much to discover, you must run a lot, but it is really fun. The rest is wonderful (we were there on a Tuesday). Admission is not worth mentioning, and the bread and the sausages are super.
