  • The former chapel is a Museum for the works of the sculptor Ernst Barlach. Are located in a beautiful small park in which to see more works of Baralchs. A nice place - worth a visit!

  • The Gertrude Chapel is located away from the city centre. This is partially something badly signposted, but achieving foot läufig in 5 minutes from the market square. The opening hours are sometimes slightly opaque. The exhibition includes artworks of the Güstrow artist Ernst Barlach. These are in part as replication in the Park to see, but also in the Chapel itself which is transformed into a museum. The explanations of the individual works of art are sometimes quite Spartan, and on the life and work of Ernst Barlach is hardly entered. Here, argues that one should visit the Barlach House as an alternative.
