  • In addition to the wonderful views and the imposing Castle, there's still a Bell Museum. We were already here frequently and make new discoveries every time. In the summer, at high temperatures, the castle is a nice spot to cool off.

  • From A45 you can see the ruins with two different towers, which withstand wind and weather at the height of the place Greifenstein. The history of the castle ruins is old and interesting. And I think you get to know the castle ruins at best on a guided tour. A registry office and a richly decorated Baroque church is located within the old walls. This church stands on a 1462 incurred Chapel, so that you can visit one of the rare double churches. Another highlight is the Bell Museum with over 100 bells. The castle ruin is also interesting for school classes. You can reach it on foot from Edingen.

  • I was there 2 x now (December 2015 and September 2016) and I think that I will be at some point surely there once. I like very much this castle and the Outlook certainly always attracts photographers and videographers. Simply great how far you can see. See my YouTube channel have I uploaded a little video with the name walk to Castle Greifenstein.

  • An impressive castle ruins. It can beat many of the bells at the Bell Museum. The acoustics in the exhibition rooms is very good. It's great also for children.

  • Impressive, remarkable ruins. It houses a museum where you can learn a lot about bells in a part. After a visit, you can hear the chimes with different ears. Beautiful destination. Good with accessible by car.
