  • What a great place to spend a day! Lots to see and explore! Only downside was that we could not enjoy the information boards, which were all in German. Recommended nonetheless!
  • Really cosy place for the hole family.
  • A world-class museum with large outdoor area. The "Mill Road" is particularly interesting. Ranging from a single stone mill of grain mill for the sawmill. With detailed documentation. Especially the mill for the production of Whetstones and the friendly explanations have inspired us. For children from 1-"100" years, it's a great insight in the time of our ancestors. We found beautifully landscaped gardens next to farmhouses, Shepherd, bee house, and others. The restaurant with good food for a reasonable price is also recommended. In the Museum Shop you will find brilliant literature in addition to small accessories. It is well worth the visit and takes 4-6 h necessarily. Enjoy the visit!

  • A journey through the history of rural and artisan life in Bavaria. Lovingly designed and fantastically situated in magnificent panorama. Unreservedly recommended. Was several times since, and can inspire me again and again.

  • Very nice place, on a small hill situated above the Kochelsee. The peasant cottages are beautifully detailed and just with the family and children, you can come here again and again and discover new. You can stay but also on one of the many Oktoberfest, sit in the beer garden, and relax. Tip: Once per month a brunch there on Sunday at the restaurant at the beginning of the Glentleitn.
